I'm Stephanie, and have many years of experience tutoring students from kindergarten to college level. I've tutored many subjects, and I enjoy helping students learn new things. I'm a lifelong learner and I love education. I consider it a privilege to be able to help others learn. I believe everyone learns in their own way, so it's important that I respect the student's process and help them become aware of their own strengths. Then I help them build on their strengths and teach them based on their learning style to help them become stronger learners. I have an Associates degree in psychology, a bachelor's degree in English literature and a masters degree in English. I can tutor students in essay writing and editing, English grammar, literature, phonics, reading, history, government, and social studies. I'm also interested in philosophy, Spanish, art, mythology, and the sciences. When I have free time, I like to attend lectures, visit the symphony, the opera and art museums, volunteer, stamp collect, and listen to music.
