#### Education

Graduate of Alfred University (2006, Magna Cum Laude) with a B.A. in astrophysics and mathematics.Recently graduated from Indiana University with a Ph.D. in physics.

#### Experience

I worked as a tutor for individuals and groups in physics from 2004-2006.I taught physics in undergraduate discussion groups for 1 year in 2009. Also substitute-taught undergraduate physics classes during 2010. Received strong acclaim from students during these times.

I am a native English speaker with strong communication skills.

My graduate school experience imparted a robust knowledge of all of physics, from mechanics to optics to electromagnetism and cosmology. Additionally, I have an extensive knowledge of mathematics across a broad range of topics.

I teach with a holistic approach in order to convey broad knowledge of phenomena, rather than merely focusing on solving homework problems. I enjoy being a part of the "light bulb moments" for students.

#### Hobbies

I enjoy skiing, biking, hiking, playing the drums, computer programming, exploring phenomena, and solving puzzles.#### Preferred Subjects

Physics, Math, Algebra, Calculus, Differential Equations, Geometry, SAT Math, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Python
